- Drink plenty of waterYou will be at a very high altitude in the Rockies.
Altitude sickness can occur if you over-extend yourself. Drinking plenty of water prior to your visit will help protect from dehydration and fatigue. - Consider flying into DenverFlying to Denver and renting a car can be cheaper than flying to Aspen... and you have the car for the duration of your visit.
Otherwise, flying into Aspen from Denver is also an easy option and there are car rentals nearby. - Ladies, wear flatsThe wedding will be outdoors, in Katie's dad's back yard. Much of the yard is grassy and not heel-friendly. Consider wearing flats!
